Nordstrom Anniversary Sale July 2015

It's that time again, Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I always like to take a look and this jacket and shift dress caught my eye in the catalog. I've been looking for a khaki parka for the longest time. But sadly, I had to return this one. I prefer one with a faux fur hood. This one came with a removable faux fur neck lining. I thought it looked a bit awkward since the neck lining makes it fancier but it is still a casual utility parka. I did like the color, the rib knit cuffs to keep out the cold, and the contrast knit side panels which nip the waist. It had zippered pockets with an additional buttoned pocket underneath on both sides. It was very warm and the XS fit me pretty well.
This shift dress was very cute and has a retro feel to it. I am also loving the grid print trend right now. The detachable color makes it versatile too. I ordered it in my size, XS - Petite but it seemed a bit loose on me. The chest darts were not hitting the right spots and the arm hole was very big. I exchanged it for a XXS - Petite and it was a lot better. You can tell it is more form fitting to my body. But the length of the XS would have been more work appropriate. I will probably wear tights with the XXS if I wear it to work.
